Homemade Madeleine Cookies

I blame Costco for my love affair with Madeleine cookies. When I first sinked my teeth into these little french cookies, I was in pure butter bliss. I must admit, I was a little intimidated to bake these at home, but the recipe was so easy to follow! I mean...like super duper easy....even if you are baking challenged! I was so pleased with the outcome. The cookies turned out perfectly spongy, buttery, airy, and light. And btw, I added chocolate chips to half the batch because everything is better with a few chocolate chips! Duh! Here is the recipe I followed. You can purchase the cookie mold here.
