Collaboration

Happy Friday, Friends! Today, I'm collaborating with the beautiful Beth from Fashion.Now and we're styling denim shorts for the summer! As you can tell, each of our looks are very different. Her look has a chic casual feel to it with flirty and feminine touches from the red clutch and bow wedges. My look has more of a....how shall I put it...masculine casual feel to it:)? Well, my boyfriend jeans give it a relaxed look, but the crop top, necklace, and crisscross wedges add some sweetness to the ensemble (if I may say so myself lol). P.S. This is the first time in my life....that I'm wearing a crop top. And I don't know how I feel about it lol. Talk about having to suck the stomach in and harden the abs at the same time. All while trying to breath. Oy vey. Some people work really hard for a nice pair of abs. And God Bless Them. I work hard too. "Phoenix Song"

I'm thrilled to share a film with you all that my good friend and editor, Kate Marzullo at Young Hollywood directed. So far, "Phoenix Song" has been accepted to 3 film festivals -- Indie Fest, The Los Angeles New Wave International Film Festival (premiere), and the Action On Film International Film Festival (August). It has also won some awards: Award of Merit in the Women Filmmakers category (Indie Fest) ; Honorable Mention in Short Film Category (LA New Wave) ; Best Costumes (LA New Wave); and the pilot for "Phoenix Chronicles" won an Honorable Mention in LA New Wave's screenwriting competition. The project was recently posted on FilmBreak, and it would mean so much to us if you can hype it (you can do it once a day) and also like their Facebook Page. Thank you all so much for your support!

We Want More

It all started as a hobby. Just an outlet to express my love and passion for all things artsy fartsy. And then it happened. I was bit by the More Bug. "More is better than less because if there is more less stuff you might want to have some more....we want more, we want more;)." Haha. Yes, I want more. But, is more possible? Or is it just a dream? Wouldn't we all love to turn blogging into a full-time job? I sure would like to know how. What's the secret? Why do some blogs become an overnight success....while other blogs require years of hard work, tears, and many-a-sleepless nights? What does it take to become a really successful blogger? How do these blogs get a million+ hits daily? How do I set myself apart from the millions of other bloggers out there? So. Many. Questions. I feel like such a small fish. In such a big huge ginormous sea. And I'm kind of lost all the time. Like Dory. But I try to keep swimming. Because giving up is not an option. And I know that I'll eventually find Nemo (whatever "Nemo" may be).
