Winter Mint


Ever since I started this blog, I've been a bit more coupon savvy. See...I said coupon savvy....not money savvy. I still need to work on the second half. However, the catch with coupons...they lure you in to buy more. More. More. More. You think you're saving money, but end up spending more than you intended because the items were on "sale". Well, this is my weakness...may not be yours. Nonetheless, I thought I would share the importance of coupon codes. For example, if you subscribe to Old Navy emails, they will send you a welcome offer of 20% off (so instead of spending $25 on this sweater...you can buy for $20). I've signed up to Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, J.Crew, etc. and always take advantage of their discount codes. Anyways....I'm no expert in this area or anything...just thought I would help y'all save a little $$$. Every little bit helps, right? Oh, and hopefully you have a little bit more self control when it comes to spending:). P.S. This post is not sponsored:)!

    Cute outfit! I'm ashamed to say that I have multiple e-mail addresses, so when I find out that certain places send out welcome offers, I can just sign up another one of my e-mail addresses to get that offer! LOL. Shame, shame, shame.

    Love this outfit though! So cozy and cute :)

    The best way to shop is through deals, DUH. The sale section is where I gravitate towards first at almost any store, haha. I love the minty color of that sweater and how you let the sequin collar poke through!

    I used to delete all of my shopping emails because I was like "whatevs, I'm not buying anything soon!" but then I always DO buy something and then I wouldn't have the code. Now I have a "shopping" folder in my inbox where I automatically put all of emails from stores in to. I keep the codes for when I need them but they don't clog up my inbox!

    And I'm a sucker for coupon codes and emails too... Fortunately I have used some this year for things I actually Needed, but typically I use them for things I definitely do Not need! Haha. Asos has sales all the time though, and Tobi does as well :)
