Sharing another oldie from last year. This is the one time....and the only time...I was able to style my hair into a semi-decent looking bun. Anyone else here have trouble doing top knots / donut buns? It's like rocket science to me lol (even when I'm using the donut thingy to hold my hair in place). I've come to the conclusion....that I'm donut bun challenged.
P.S. This is totally random, but my favorite J.Crew military shirt that I wore in this post is an extra 40% off!!!!
Jacket - Urban Outfitters (Similar one here, here, here, or here) ; Dress - Zara (Similar one here, here, here, or here) ; Boots - Steve Madden (Exact one here or here) ; Turtleneck - J.Crew (Similar one here, here, or here)
Nice!:)) xo

I am horrible with the top knot too - my arms get tired from trying. I think you probably have too much hair to roll up (I am so envious!). I have heard from my thick hair friends to use a pair of panty hose and cut the toe part and roll it and use that instead and it helps.

DeleteI like the sock bun on you! I feel like it's so hit and miss when I try it... rarely I haven't been able to get my hair to stay at all! Have you tried Wendy's tutorial? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIBMx3N-BJc) that's what I used the few times I've been able to get it done right. Love the mix of stripes & lace!
