My Sister's OOTN....

A little change of scenery today:). On Saturday we celebrated my beautiful sister's birthday! It's the 9th Anniversary of her 21st lol (note the 21st birthday napkins on the table). In other words, we rang in her Dirty 30s!! Woohoo!! This is one of many milestones we will be celebrating this year. She's graduating with her MPA this June. And then she's getting married this September to her handsome fiancĂ© (pictured above). It's all so bittersweet for me, but I know that she is in great hands and I love my bro-in-law to be. I'm so proud of my sister and so lucky to have her in my life! She's my forever friend and someone I can always turn to for inspiration, wisdom, guidance, heart-to-heart moments, and belly-aching laughter. Happy Birthday, Sis! Love you so much!

P.S. She wanted something fun and flirty for her birthday, so this is the outfit we came up with. It was inspired by Amber. :)

P.P.S. 13 going on 30 is one of my all-time favorite movies. So, this song is dedicated to my sister.

Outfit Details: Top - ASOS (It was actually a dress...we had it altered and made into a top) (Similar one here, here, here, here, or here) ; Skirt - ASOS (Exact one here or similar styles with more sizes here or here) ; Heels - ASOS (Sold Out) (Similar styles here, here, or here)

Celebrating 25 Years

Today is my birthday. I'm turning a quarter of a century old. I know....it sounds kinda ancient. But it's really not. 25 is a milestone birthday. It's a transition period for me. Long gone are those carefree childhood days and time to put on my big girl pants and make important life decisions. There is so much living, loving, learning, growing, exploring, and dreaming I have yet to do. This beautiful journey has just begun and I'm looking forward to the next 100+ years of life (my mission is to be the longest living person in the world...we'll see how that goes...I better get my sugar addiction under control).

About a year ago I started this blog and it's been such an amazing experience for me. I went back to my roots and started doing things that I was passionate about like fashion, music, baking, etc. I've been reunited with my artsy fartsy creative side....and it feels so good! I've also met some truly wonderful people. Thank you all for your support. I'm grateful for all of you! I'll leave you with a little quote...."Today is the oldest you've been and the youngest you'll ever be." So Live. Be Happy. Be You. And. Be Kind.
