Friends, July 4th is Next Friday! I know. How did this happen?! Why does time fly by as we get older? I guess I just need to come to terms with the fact that a) I'm getting older b) I can't freeze time lol. But, just because I'm getting older does not mean that I can't indulge in some childhood favorites. I will chase down the ice cream truck for a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich for as long as I shall live;)! And as far as freezing time, the best I can do is live in the moment and not worry about the future (we'll see how that goes lol). Anyways, have a great last weekend in June:)! P.S. DIY Easter Floral Arrangement

I was searching for Easter recipe/decoration ideas on Pinterest and this floral arrangement caught my attention. So, I tackled my first DIY project over the weekend and it turned out much better than I expected. Fun, festive, and super easy to make. P.S. I used fake flowers because I didn't have a double vase. These are totally semi-homemade. Boxed cake mix. Canned cream cheese frosting. I even bought the Wilton North Pole Decorating Kit from Target. Hey, in the end it's the thought and effort that counts, right:)? Plus, they are cute and festive! P.S. They don't sell the decorating kit online, but hopefully your local Target store carries it.
